A few years ago I had a call from a care partner in the midwest who was struggling with getting her husband to begin an exercise program. She acknowledged that her husband's neurologists had recommended starting to exercise would help with the symptoms. She said to me, "If I could only get him to do 5 Minutes of exercise, I think it would help!" After we concluded our conversation and I continued to drive to my next appointment, I realized that I've been hearing this for years. I thought, "Why not do a DVD program that incorporates 5 Minute routines that immediately make you feel better?" During my work as an exercise practitioner I've noted that folks with PD can often feel better from a few minutes of exercise. This phone call and my experience with working with people with Parkinson's have inspired this program. I've designed 10 five minute routines that will get you up and feeling better, fast!
This program contains many of my most meaningful routines that address the symptoms and inform the process toward living better. You don't have to spend hours in the gym to make a difference. As I like to say, "I've seen small changes make big differences."
Try the 5 Minute workouts and see how you feel. More coming, my friends!
